Meet Our Dentists
Travis Hampton , DMD
Dr. Travis Hampton attended Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, where he majored in biology. He was accepted into the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry at the age of 19, making him one of the youngest applicants ever accepted in the program. He graduated from the Medical of Georgia in 1991 with a doctorate degree in dental medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Hampton was selected by his fellow classmates for the Dorothy C. Hearn award, which recognizes personal attributes advantageous to dentistry.
Dr. Hampton has practiced dentistry in his family practice in Covington, Georgia for over 20 years. Dr. Hampton firmly believes in continuing education and is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires over 1,100 hours of continuing education and to pass the rigorous Mastership examination. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hampton enjoys golfing and other sports and playing the guitar.
Dr. Siva Venkatachalam
Dr. Siva Venkatachalam “Dr. Siva” grew up in Columbus, GA and got his Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs at the University of Georgia. He then followed his passion and received his DMD from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He has practiced in the central Florida area for a few years before returning home to Georgia!
While in dental school, Dr. Siva participated in a mission trip to Jamaica where he provided free dental care to the underserved population. He loves to give back to his community through volunteering at different local events.
In his free time, Dr. Siva loves to spend quality time with his family and friends. He is a foodie at heart and enjoys eating at local restaurants. He loves watching sports and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves! He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Florida Dental Association.
